Huge news today. Our latest product, InCrowd, the first standalone app to utilize the recently unveiled Facebook Places API, is now available FOR FREE in the App Store. In addition to being the first app built exclusively for Facebook Places, it is the only app that accesses Facebook Search.
In InCrowd, players create their own customizable avatar, socialize, meet new friends and track popularity when they check-in to their favorite real-life places using their iPhone or iPod touch. InCrowd players gain popularity when others respond using a series of in-game actions, such as hi fives, fist bumps, winks, or posting about a venue. Players can also utilize the always popular Dropkick to take popularity away from a chosen individual. The more a player socializes with others, the more in-game points are rewarded to them for use in upgrading and personalizing their virtual avatar.
Given the nature of InCrowd and other location-based services, we spent a lot of time working on our privacy features. We've included an invisible function in InCrowd, so users can hide their locations and check-ins if they please. If an invisible user wants to interact with another user, then their location will show up, but only for the given user they have chosen to interact with; which allows for individual encounters while still maintaining a high degree of privacy.
So go ahead, download InCrowd now and Become a Local Legend at Places you Love!

I like that austinite04 he understands me u guys only made mytown great your other ones suk ass so either fix it or I will keep flagging it as offensive knowing you'll have to fix it or you'll be forced to by the AppStore people because it would be getting to many offensive flags going up every day

This app is almost pointless, Facebook already has a check-in service.. I will not keep this app on my FB account or iphone 4.. You wasted time on this app when you could have updated MyTown last week, or sooner.. BOOYAH, just make MyTown, your other apps, not so good. That night club game is so stupid.. MyTown, is also dead for ipod touches... so just post no more ipod touches may use the app.. thats 98% of the negative reviews on the app store...

@jackie,
Nope, it's definitely not dead. We're awaiting approval on Apple's end, and then an update will be released!
